Join the Community-in-Formation and Old St. Mary’s Church for our Young Adult Oratory.
Mrs. Emily Macke – Guest Speaker
When: Wednesday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: Old St. Mary’s Church (gather in the Church at 7:00 p.m. for prayer, followed by Fr. Felten Hall at 7:30 p.m.)
Why: This month’s speaker will be Mrs. Emily Macke of Ruah Woods. Emily will address the Young Adult Oratory about Gender Identities. The Young Adult Oratory meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, with the 1st Wednesday being devoted to speakers and catechesis. The 3rd Wednesday is devoted to social time or volunteering in and around Old St. Mary’s Church in Over-the-Rhine.
The Young Adults Oratory is a fusion of the participation in the life of the Church (Adoration, Mass, Prayer with the Community) with a combination of lecture series, informal social gatherings, and community outreach. This will all be set in the traditional beauty of Old St. Mary’s, among the eclectic world of Over The Rhine, with the intellectual reverence bred by the forming Community-in-Formation of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri.
